Midnapore, Dec 29 (ANI): An elephant died after falling into a well in West Bengal’s Midnapore district. According to the forest officials, the elephant slipped into a well while fighting others in its herd. The well was dug for irrigation purpose. It took nearly eight hours for the forest officials to take out the elephant’s carcass from the well.
