Poonch (Jammu and Kashmir), Dec 30 (ANI): The Department of Horticulture organised Kissan Mela in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district under a mission to aware the farmers about horticulture production. Large number of farmers participated in the fair to get knowledge of the variety of production techniques, walnut, apples, citrus, and other fruits in the district. The farmers expressed their happiness and thanked the department for organising the fair. The fair was organised with an aim to make the farmers aware about the schemes launched by the government.
