Hyderabad, Dec 29 (ANI): Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday said that in wake of environment’s alarming situation, they have started ‘Telangana Ku Haritha Haram programme’ to increase green cover. Elaborating further about the programme, he said that it is a flagship of the Telangana Government and it envisages increasing the present 24 percent tree cover in the state to 33 percent of the total geographical area of the state. He added that the goal is to plant about 230 crore seedlings.
