Imphal, Dec 30 (ANI): A Thanksgiving ceremony for the creation of new district Kamjong was held at Tribal Research Institute (TRI) of Chingmeirong in Imphal on Thursday. The ceremony organised by District Administration Kamjong also had four developmental projects being dedicated to the people of the district. The developmental projects included Tribal Inclusive Infrastructure Projects at Phungyar and Kasom Khullen Augmentation of Water Supply Scheme at Phungyar and Eklayavas Model Residential School at Kamjong. The water supply scheme will benefit the state. It will have four numbers of service reservoirs, six numbers of zonal reservoirs, surface water tank, conveyance and distribution pipes, chowkidar’s quarter, godown and gutter and drop pipes. The source of the water supply scheme is rainwater.
