Srinagar, Dec 29 (ANI): In an initiative to promote tourism in the state, tour operators from various parts of the country visited Kashmir, under the FAM (familiarisation) tour operations, to analyze the potential held by the Valley. Tourism, the backbone of Kashmir’s economy, has been hit hard from the past six months due to the unrest in the Valley. Despite the series of protests and shutdowns, Kashmiris have been welcoming tourists and showing positive attitude through traditional hospitality, for which they are famous all over the world.
