Varanasi, Dec 29 (ANI): The Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested two persons and seized nearly 2,000 tortoises from their possession. The police made the recovery while inspecting a car in temple town of Varanasi. Senior Superintendent of Police, Varanasi, Nitin Tiwari said the tortoises were hidden in sacks. Later, the tortoises were handed over to the forest department.
