Will resign as IOA life president if committee finds appointment illegal: Abhay Chautala

Gurugram, Dec 29 (ANI): Indian National Lok Dal (INLD) leader Abhay Singh Chautala on Thursday offered to quit his honourary position of life president of the Indian Olympic Association (IOA) only if the International Olympic Committee (IOC) had reservations about his elevation. Giving details, Chautala said there is no direction from the IOC across the world that a person can’t hold a position in IOA if he is accused in a case. Chautala, who has been accused in a disproportionate assets case, has asked IOA president N. Ramachandran to seek take up the matter with the IOC.
