Girls from Patna showcased their talent at national level, when they won the second prize at the zonal-level science drama contest held at Birla Industrial and Technological Museum (BITM), Kolkata on Thursday. The science drama team of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Shastrinagar represented Bihar after winning the state-level science drama contest held here at the SK Science Centre on July 19.
The team will now represent the eastern zone at the national science drama contest to be organized by National Council of Science Museums at Visveswaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bangalore in September.
The title of the science drama performed by the state team was ‘Mujhe kahan le aye ho Columbus’, which was based on biodiversity. Play director Archana Chaudhary, a teacher of the school, was adjudged the best director during the zonal contest.
