With the state agog with 99th anniversary celebrations and a year-long centenary calendar of events, this district has set the mood rolling with a string of weeklong sporting events to herald Bihar Diwas jubilations.
Taking a leaf out of the cricket mania sweeping Champaran in the wake of ICC world cup, the Bettiah police have captured the popular mood by kick-starting the Bihar Diwas celebrations in the district with a T-20 cricket league with teams strung together from the civil and police administrations and the public.
