Roorkee: The pride of Bihar and Jharkhand was glorified, when a group of budding  technocrats and professors  at IIT Roorkee  assembled  here for a cultural meet to showcase the symbiotic culture of the two states on Saturday. The event, known as AMRAPALI MUNDA SAMANVAYA 2011 ,was the third in the series which was started in 2009. All the faculty members,non teaching staff and students of Bihar and Jharkhand residing in IIT Roorkee campus heartedly participated in the event.
The programme started with “Deep Prajwalan†by the chief guest and Kulgeet(Institute Song) of IITR. The students performed acts like skit,song and drama followed by Professors in the two and half hour long program. It was followed by a dinner which served regional dishes like litti chokha.This type of event helps to bring the solidarity among the students of the region and also presents a bright picture of our vivid culture.
Altogether,the event was a successful one bringing the seniors and juniors belonging to a region on same platformlike a family ,thus promoting solidarity.
