Mumbai: Mulund witness a grand Lavani performance by Bollywood Actress Sonali Kulkarni, which was organized by Charan Singh Sapra chairman of Sewak NGO.

The beautiful actress gave rocking live performance and has shown her Latka’s Jhatka’s where people have gone crazy to get a glimpse of Sonali Kulkarni who had performed on the song Apsara Ali… Sonali Kulkarni was looking gorgeous in White Dress, She said, “Mulund is a beautiful place in Mumbai and has a special place in my heart. I feel lucky to be here and perform at Mulundâ€
Vivacious, energetic and dramatic. These three words aptly describe the scintillating dance form called Lavani. Bollywood renewed actor Shekhar Suman also added glamour to the festival and was seen encouraging the audience he said, “This is great moment to be in Mulund and I am grateful to Charan Singh Sapra ji for inviting me to this festival. The people of Mulund are very lovely.â€
The Mulund Festival which is celebrating in a unique manner unites all the residents of Mulund in some way or the other way. Through the competition of dance Sapra ji has provided a platform for the dancers of Mulund to rise to international level. Charan Singh Sapra said, “Lavani dance is a very popular in Maharashtra and worldwide. It’s a combination of traditional song and dance. Lavani has contributed substantially to the development of Marathi folk theatre. Sonali has given lovely performance.â€
The Mulund festival has seen Variety of competitions like singing, dancing, literature, cricket, Harley Davidson bike rally, badminton, painting, Rangoli, cooking competition, storytelling, quiz, and many others which was held. Irrespective of age, caste, people took part in all the events.
