Bollywood Actress Veena Malik, who hails from Pakistan stunned the twitter users of entire India with a controversial tweet against India this morning. Â This drew the ire of thousands of Twitter users who slammed her for such remarks.
As per reports, Veena Malik (@iVeenaMalik) first re-tweeted a news about a 23-year-old German student who was allegedly molested and robbed by some auto drivers in New Delhi. She then tweeted, “India sucks.”
Soon, she was trending top on Twitter with many news websites having published reports about her anti-India remarks.
However, the entire episode took a dramatic turn when it was revealed that @iVeenamalik is her old account which was allegedly hacked in January this year.
A Report in Pakistan Tribune published on January 5 says that Veena Malik’s Twitter account was hacked by her former Digital Manager Prashant Singh. Her Press Relations Manager Sohail Rashid  accused Singh of posting personal pictures of Malik on her twitter account. He  added that Singh was responsible for handling digital media in India.
Veena’s Husband Asad Bashir Khan  had also confirmed this incident via a tweet and revealed her new Twitter handle @iVeenaKhan.
Later today, Veena A Khan Khattak (@iVeenaKhan ), having 114K followers on Twitter, tweeted about the incident and said that it was her hacked account which posted Anti-India remarks.
Interestingly, the description of @iVeenaMalik reads, “Its a reel acount…..not real.” A later tweet from this account says, “This account was never hacked….it’s been the same from day one…!!!”
Overall, it seems to be the outcome of some dispute between Prashant Singh and Veena Malik.
