Furious 7 emerges as the most successful Fast and Furious Film ever

Driving past the competition and leaping into first place at the box office — “Furious 7.” The series has really picked up speed since the original “Fast & Furious”… making this film the biggest debut for the franchise.

“Furious 7” brought in over $143 million in U.S. and Canadian ticket sales in its opening weekend.

In one of his final roles, the movie features Paul Walker, who died in a car crash in 2013 before the filming finished.

He’s not the Easter bunny, but ticket sales proved fans were attracted to the DreamWorks animation “Home” on Easter weekend.

The alien-on-the-run helped grab another $27.4 million at the box office, bringing its domestic total to $95.6 million.

All joking aside, “Get Hard” snagged third place with $12.9 million.
