Those investigating Germanwings Flight 9525 Crash are of opinion that the accused co-pilot Andreas Lubitz, who forcefully crashed the aircraft into Alps on the fateful day, had practiced doing so in his previous flight.
Changes in autopilot settings on the outbound flight to Barcelona, mimicked those which crashed the aircraft a couple of hours later.
Investigators announcing Wednesday that Andreas Lubitz changed the button to the minimum setting of 100 feet, several times.
The 27-year-old also altered another dial to speed the jet up. The findings come from investigations of cockpit voice recordings as well as flight data taken from the aircraft’s two ‘black boxes’.
