New Delhi: Ahead of Delhi Assembly polls, Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi today held a rally in Chandni Chowk area of Delhi.
In a scathing attack on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Rahul said the PM who talks big and lures public by his speeches does not follow what he says.
Breaking his silence over Former Union Minister Jayanthi Natarajan’s allegations that Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi had interfered in the affairs of her environment ministry, Rahul today said he had asked her to look into welfare of poor and tribal.
He added, he had asked her to protect the environment and interests of poor. Rahul Gandhi said he had asked her to protect the rights of tribals.
In a letter to party president, Sonia Gandhi, former Environment Minister Jayanthi Natarajan had alleged that she received “specific requests” from Rahul Gandhi’s office on environmental clearances.
