Kolkata: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday visited famous Dakshineswar temple on his second day in Kolkata. He visited the Dakshineswar Kali temple where Sri Ramakrishna lived and offered prayers.
He then visited Belur Math, the global headquarters of the Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan.
As a young boy, Modi had visited Belur Math to join the order but his request was turned down and was told that his calling lay elsewhere.
