Hyderabad, Dec 28 (ANI): Telangana Urban Development and IT Minister KT Rama Rao on Wednesday said the driver-cum owner scheme will be encouraged and payment hike would also be considered in the state. He also said that it’s a unique initiative by which driver-cum-owner as a self employment scheme will be encouraged. He added that the higher the number of vehicles engaged in any government departments are paid Rs 25,000 through uniform policy, definitely they will check into this issue and increase the payment. He further stated that they will also try to bring up this in other corporations like Warangal, Karimnagar etc.
