Birgunj, Nepal, Dec 28 (ANI): Leaders of the Terai-Madhesh Democratic Party on Wednesday reaffirmed their stand to oppose the polls until the new constitution is amended as per the demands of Madhesi people. The remarks came from party chief Mahanth Thakur at an event held in Nepal’s Birgunj. Birgunj has witnessed a long period of political unstability and agitation as the town dwellers accused the present government of denying them basic rights.
