Patna, Jul 1 (PTI) A guard of honour was given to three CRPF jawans from Bihar, who were killed in a Maoist attack at Naryanpur in Chhatisgarh, after their bodies were flown in here by a special plane.
Additional Director General of Police (Headquarters) P K Thakur and other senior police officials paid floral tribute at the Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport here.
The body of CRPF sub-inspector M P Singh was sent to his ancestral village Matihan in Saran district, while that of head constable Raju Kumar was sent to Tikatia village in Siwan district. CRPF head constable Tarkeshwar Rai’s body was sent to his ancestral Barnali village in Vaishali.
The body of a fourth jawan Neeraj Kumar’s body will arrive in the afternoon and will be sent to Kurtha in Arwal, Thakur said.
