High Court orders BCCI to include Bihar in all its Games

Patna High Court has directed Board of Cricket Control in India , BCCI to include Bihar in various National Level Cricket Tournaments.  A single Bench presided by Justice V N Sinha issued the notifition to BCCI against a PIL Filed by Bihar Cricket Association.

However, a three-member full bench of the high court, presided by the chief justice, will later decide which faction of the BCA will send the state teams to different tournaments.

There are two factions in the BCA, one led by Ajay Narayan Sharma and another by RJD supremo Lalu Prasad. The case is scheduled for hearing on August 18.

Bihar Cricket Association affiliated to the Board of control for cricket in India is the parent body or governing the game of Cricket in Bihar, and involved in the conduct of the game from the grass root level to the International level.

The Bihar Cricket Association promotes and develops Cricket by conducting various League Tournaments,Tournaments for the age group Under-13, Under-15, Under-17, and Under-19, Under-22 and Under-25 categories besides organising and conducting National Tournaments.
