JMM Leader Hemant Soren today sworn in as the next CM of Jharkhand. Jharkhand Governor Dr. Syed Ahmed administered the oath of office and secrecy to Mr. Hemant Soren at Birsa Mandap of the Ranchi Raj Bhawan.   Formerly, he was a Deputy Chief Minister in the Arjun munda ministry
Hemant Soren was born on 10 August 1975 to JMM Leader Shibu Soren and Roopi Soren at Nemara in Ramgarh district, erstwhile Bihar.  Hemant has two brothers and a sister.
As per affidavit filed before Election Commission , Hemant has completed his study till Class 12. Â However, it has been reported that Hemant had taken admission at BIT Mesra, Ranchi in Mechanical Engineering.
He was a member of Rajya Sabha from 24 June 2009 to 4 January 2010. Â He also won as an MLA from Dhumka in 2009 Assembly Elections.
