Did you know why Bollywood Actor Shahrukh Khan was twice detained at American Airport ? With arrest of IM Co-Founder Yasin Bhatkal, the mystery of SRK Detention has become clear. For past several years, Yasin Bhatkal used the alias Dr. Shahrukh and was living as a Unani Doctor in Nepal, reveal media reports.
His colleague Asadullah Akhtar aka ‘Haddi was living in  the guise of Daniyal. He is son of an influential doctor from UP who played a key role in rallying clerics against the Batla House encounter and arrests of terror suspects.
Yasin Bhatkal, whose real name is Ahmad Zarar Sidibappa, hails from a well to do family from Bhatkal in Karnataka. He is said to have a degree in Engineering.
He co-founded Indian Mujahideen with Riyaz Bhatkal and his brother Iqbal Sidibappa. After Batala House Encounter in 2009, the duo fled to Pakistan giving full charge of IM to Dr. Shahrukh.
The Intelligence came to know about his this identity when Saif, an IM operative arrested during Batla House Encounter told interrogators that Dr Shahrukh had provided him with explosives for 2008 Ahmedabad Blasts.
He has established a strong network of IM Operatives in Darbhanga Bihar would centrally coordinate the terror attacks sitting in Nepal. Agencies reveal that he used Internet tools like Skype to communicate with his operatives. He would come to India only for plotting and perpetrating terror attacks.
An estimate shows that Yasin is responsible for bombing which claimed over 140 deaths in past. Significant attacks made by him include 2008 blasts in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune and Jaipur.
On being questioned, after arrest, Â he denied the Mujahideen’s involvement in a series of bomb blasts in the pilgrimage town of Bodh Gaya in July, but said of the attacks, “Good… it seems there are other people like us working for the same purpose.”
He was caught in CCTV Camera while planing bomb during German Bakery blasts in Pune and was also responsible for Bangalore Stadium Bombings. It is said that he managed to flee from Batla House, minutes before the successful encounter of Terrorists took place.
