Miss Universe Olivia Culpo might run into trouble for alleged violation of Rules while visiting Taj Mahal. Reports say that she went inside the Monument premises with a bagful of Sandals and later changed to a particular brand of Sandals only to be photographed by the accompanying Cameramen.

It might be noted that Supreme Court of India has banned any kind of commercial activities inside the Archaeologically protected monuments. As per reports, Archaeological Survey of India is also planning to file an FIR against Olivia and other concerned persons for violation of  the Rules.
Olivia, who won Miss Universe Title last year, is on a 10 day trip to India as part of her Miss Universe Commitments to promote issues such as celebrating the girl child, women empowerment and AIDS awareness across the country.
She visited the historic monument with fashion designer Sanjana Jon and others, few days back.
Ironically, neither the tourism police nor the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) that is responsible for the security of the monument stopped the party from doing the act.
ASI’s Conservative Assistant, Syed Muuzzar Ali admits that there has been some lapse on part of the CISF and the tourism police and the matter is being probed.
