Anukriti Gusain to lead India at Bride of The World 2013 Pageant in Taiwan

Anukriti Gusain, one of the Finalists of Femina Miss India 2013  would represent India at Bride of the World 2013 Beauty Pageant to be held in December 2013 at Kaohsiung (Taiwan).

Anukriti is presently a student of Computer Science & Engineering at Dehradun Institute of Technology. She is 18 years old and her Height is 168cm.

Earlier, She was the winner of Pond’s Femina Miss India Delhi 2013 and one of the 5 Finalists of Femina Miss India 2013 during which, she had bagged the Awards of MISS BEAUTIFUL SMILE and MISS PHOTOGENIC.


Bride Of The World (know as BOW) is an International beauty contest held annually since 1993. The USP of this Pageant is that it allows women upto the Age 36 to participate in it. Further, it is the only pageant where there is no Swimsuit round.

In BOW, a Winner is chosen on the basis of following traits:

B -Benevolence and Bravery
R – Respect and Resilience
I – Intelligence and Integrity
D -Devotion and Dedication
E – Endurance and Enterprise

When asked about her participation in BOW, Anukriti said, “I am blessed that I have been chosen to represent my country India at Bride of The World pageant. This is a sincere responsibility on my shoulders and rest assure l shall give my best to make my country proud”.

The Bride of The World event carries a strong emphasis on raising the standard of beauty in today’s society. The mission statement of the pageant states that the modern woman is defined as beautiful not by outward features alone, but the woman displays her charm in both form and character.

Last year, the Finale of Bride of The World 2012 was held on 26 October 2012 at  Macau where  Miss Denmark Chistina Mikkelsen was chosen as the Winner.

The 2012  Event saw participation of Beauties from 34 countries, which is expected to increase to 50 this year.
