Ahmadabad, Dec 02 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party supporters began celebrations across Ahmedabad on Wednesday after early trends in the Gujarat civic polls showed it leading in most of the municipal corporations. Ahmedabad mayor and BJP leader Meenakshibehen Patel, who won from the Jodhpur seat here, said they had fought the elections on the issue of development, which mattered most to the people. She described it as a victory of the people and the party workers.
