Shimla, July 11 (ANI): Apple farmers in Himachal Pradesh’s capital city Shimla are getting good prices for the early varieties of apple. Farmers are getting Rs. 1,000 to 1,500 for 25 kilograms apple box. Shimla market is abuzz with early varieties of apple namely ‘Summer Queen’ and ‘Tiedemann’. On an average 10,000 boxes are reaching in Dhali market. Apple growers in rural Shimla, Kinnaur and Kullu districts this year are expecting a good crop and also good business ahead. Apples in the market are reaching from Rohru, Theog, Kotgarh, Narkanda, Rampur, Jubble, Kotkhai and Chopal in Shimla district which is considered to be the apple bowl of the state.
