PATNA: The first-ever Cyber Crime Investigation Unit (CCIU) in Bihar was on Saturday made operational at Kotwali police station in the state capital.
“It is the first-ever unit in Bihar and will come in handy for probing cyber crime and mobile phones complaints,” Senior Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Jain said.
“Now onwards people can even get register their complaint with the police stations through e-mail,” Jain said adding it would ease the people’s problems with regard to registration of complaints.
“We have made these facilities available for ensuring better policing and establishing cooperation with people,” he added.
