Patna: Like last year the topper of the Class-X Bihar School Examination Board once again hailed from Nalanda, the home district of the chief minister, Nitish Kumar and human resources development minister, Hari Narayan Singh.Incidentally ,Nalanda was also center of excellent learning in the ancient past.
Five of the six top candidates are girls. What is more, like the first topper, Anupam Neha, the fifth ranked, Khusboo Kumari, is also from the same school, S S High School, Biharsharif. So Nalanda, as a district, is fast emerging as the Neterhat of pre-Jharkhand days as there are more candidates from the district in the top ten position.
Incidentally not a single student from Patna district is in the first five position.
