Girls Outsmart Boys In Bihar Intermediate Exam 2010 Results

All the first five positions in the Science stream of the Intermediate Examination 2010 conducted by the Bihar School Examination Board have been bagged by girls. The results were declared yesterday.

An analysis of the results showed 9 girls in the top 15 students. While the pass percentage among boys was 92.30 this year, 93.25 per cent girls sailed through the exams. The overall pass percentage was 92.51, up from 91.85 last year.

Shweta Ranjan of JD Women’s College, Patna, stood first with 425 marks, while Ruby Kumari of St. Kabir College, Samastipur, secured the second position with 424 marks. The third place went to Niharika of Maharajgunj (421 marks).
