Equipped with modern lighting system, both bridges have pedestrian lanes on both sides for added safety of those on foot.
The bridges were earlier scheduled to be inaugurated on June 24 but were delayed in view of the sudden passing away of JD-U leader Sudha Srivastava and Independent MP from Banka Digvijay Singh.
The Chief Minister also flagged off the new Rajgir-Tilaiya passenger train that earlier was known as Danapur-Rajgir passenger train.
The daily commuter train, in the second phase of its expansion, would be extended up to Ranchi, Kumar said while expressing his gratitude towards Railway Minister Mamta Banerjee for keeping the interest of the people in mind.
East-Central Railways General Manager A. P. Mishra, Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Health Minister Nand Kishore Yadav, and Bihar Legislative Council Chairperson Tarakant Jha were among many who were present on the occasion.
