It’s amazing that Patna didn’t even get its first multiplexes when other state capitals have too many. How can we think of vibrant and shining Bihar without such basic infrastructure? Comparisons must begin with neighbouring state capital Lucknow.
It’s great to see our city being developing day by day. and it seems to have jackpot for Patna as the first ever largest mall at Bihar Patna is going to open shortly. It’s really an honour to feel proud & Thanks to Mr. Prakash Jha that he gave privilege to patna in the face of “P & M ” mall as Rising Patna*.
NOw we will feel free to enjoy the place and that will help out everyone for easy & special shopping with entertainment having multiples of goods at a Particuar place.
As for being an Honour to be the citizen, I Thanks! Mr. Prakash Jha for giving a precious gift to Patna!!!!

As for being an Honour to be the citizen, I Thanks! Mr. Prakash Jha for giving a precious gift to Patna!!!! I will feel proud to be a part of this Company .
Parking is just for 150 cars. So, soon people nearby can think of large traffic jams amidst their colonies. Otherwise , like Vishal Mega mart at Fraser Road, it will add to more voes than it will solve for the people.
we are a leading and fast growing real estate company in Eastern India . we are marketing so many project in Bihar And Jharkhand…recently our 4 new commercial projects have started in patna , gaya and muzaffarpur……Very soon we are coming with few more landmark projects..
Thanks
Power required for this kind of mall is huge…And seeing the current scarcity of power in Bihar…it would be very difficult to maintain the power supply for the same…Also, Road around the area is so small that it will rather create nuisance of traffic…
I would suggest, rather going for this western culture, the govt. should concentrate on basic infrastructure viz. road, power, clean water, education, and employment…Corruption is eating our administration like parasites which should vanish ASAP….We all know how our state lags in all this prequisite required for becoming a develop state…We all want Bihar to be a state that every indian can be proud of. Lets make your own effort to make Bihar, a force to reckon with not only in India but world wide…
Jai Bihar.
Hi,Lnow we can say patna is on his way because as per concern of state capital Infrastructure should be world class. but due to bad or worst political approach and corrupt leader Patna was very far from developement but know its on the track and we can see a very beautiful Patna and can exsit in The World Map and can hope we will see a Developed BIHAR.
CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME THAT WHEN THESE MALLS ARE GOING TO BE OPEN.PATNA IS A VILLAGE CAPITAL WHILE ALL OTHER STATE CAPITAL HAS A MALL FOR A LONG TIME BUT PATNA DOES NOT HAVE ANY MODERN AMENENTIES.IT DOES NOT HAVE A MULTIPLEX TO.COMPARE PATNA WITH LUCKNOW WHICH HAS MALLS AND MULTIPLEX FOR A LONG TIME.PATNA DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING.SO PLEASE SOMEBODY TELL ME WHEN THE MALLS AND MULTIPLEXES ARE GOING TO OPEN IN VILLAGE CAPITAL PATNA.
@anil-y r u calling it a village capital,if dis is ur way of calling ur city,i wonder wat outsiders wud call it,give patna a bit of tym 2 grow n develop,we need efforts not criticism
its been a long…….from may2010 to oct2010,now the news is about april2011…..god knows when it will be open…..well patna is not a village…….being its citizen u should be proud of it…..not just critise it……… well gud news is that we are going to have 3 ultra modern malls by the end of this year(2011)…..& i luv patna……
i am glad to know the upcoming mall
Well, Anil its so shocking that you have criticism for the good work and efforts of many individual involved in making Patna (BIHAR) beautiful .its is rightly said by ayushi that we need appreciate and not criticism b’cause the time is crucial .it is the time to buld not to break…The whole of country is looking closely at bihar and it is with us(bihari Brothers and sisters) to rise for the occasion ..I Love Patna (BIHAR) no matter what it is (village or city)…jai Bharat Jai Bihar
Dear friends,  I appreciate the concern shown by all & laud the positive attitude of ayushi. But I would like to clear here that existence of malls & such market places is one thing & importance of  town is quite different. Not every city in our country can boast of Harmandir shahib- birthplace of Guru Govind Singhji, ancient remains of Mauryan site Kumhrar, Didarganj Yakhani kept in the Patna museum, Saktipeeth Patandevi ji, Khuda Baksh Library, the Missionary social institutions like Padri-ki-Haveli, Kurjee Hospital, Emarate-shariah; symbols of our freedom struggle shaheed smarak, Arrah barack-Danapur cantt., Sadaqat Ashram, Gandhi Maidan etc. etc. Imperial landmarks like Governor’s House , State Secretariat, High Court & a lot of great Churches, Mosque & Temples. Modern institutions like IIT, BIT, CIMP, NID, NIFT, KIL etc.We are proud of our culture, hospitality & contribution to development of our country & whole world. Jai hind Jai Bihar- Thanks
wow. it will be a great achievement for Patna. before it, There was no any mall in whole Bihar. It also improve the shopping facility in Bihar. I thik there should be some more shopping malls in each and every cities of Bihar like any other states.
mera friend , S.V.P. ye jankar bauth hi exceited hai ki patna mein mall pe mall khulte ja rahe hai . Ish karan se use malleria ho gaya hai. woh har samay mall ke bare mein sochta rehta hai. woh chata hai ki uske marne ke baad use mall mein hi dafanaya jaye/
Hi Everybody,After reading comments from most of the bloggers here, I feel that you most of you may not have got a chance to visit and stay for a year or two in the one of the worlds most advanced cities like  Los Angelis, Atlanta, and other countries like Germany (where roads are the best in the world) and other stuffs.
Thats why many people are saying, MALL MALL MALL, you please come to Patna. Â Most of you have linked mall to a developed city.
I have stayed in all of the above foriegn cities/states and deeply study (part time) their infrastructure like roads, trains, Malls, building structures, etc. Notice that all of these worlds modern infrastructure comes with a cost that is (not global warming or other thing, I am talking about) culture and day to day detoriating medical conditionsÂ
Opening malls, multiplexes don’t make a city developed, not all.Â
A developed city is that who has well connected and defined roads across the whole city keeping congestion totally out.
A developed city is that which has numerous educational institute in such a way that every citizen of that state need not to worry about study by leaving his state.
A developed city is that which doesn’t need to worry about food crises and water supply. It must have more than annual requirement.
A developed city is that where each and every citizen understands its responsibility in terms that it works daily without any corruption and others should fully believe him/her. While writing this point, I remember one instance of yesterday. I was trying to search some Diamond Jewelry in a shop in Atlanta, USA. I could not find the proper match. The lady at the shop directed me to another shop, which was 200 meter apart but directly visible, giving my choice in my hand. She said take this with you in that shop and bring the matched ear piece to me. The ring which she gave me in my hand was costs $1200.Â
Imagine can someone handover this amount of Jewell in customer hands saying: go to that shop for getting a match?  It’s still a dream in India/Bihar. It’s possible here because people are really very??? Decide yourself.
With this kind of attitude, the city gets several benefits. One like ZIPCAR in USA. Convenience of Online Shopping, etc etc which I am getting here daily.Â
A developed city is that: Â I don’t have time to mentions other required stuffs.
Remember, being a Bihar myself, I have not only stayed in foreign country, but have stayed in our so called developed Indian cities like Navi Mumbai, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and upto some extent Mysore.Â
There are two distinct things: Some action being taken and second the Result. Â People today take the result and say that this is the action. For example opening malls and multiplex is the result of a development but people takes this result and understand that this development.
Few of you, who are good in mathematics and/or Bhagawat Geet, will understand that result may be different for a same good set of actions because of multiple reasons. Few reasons may be like: Â when the action has been performed or who has performed that or even where the action has been performed. Depending on any other these reasons that result of that action may be different but definitely that actions can be considered as successive. For example quadratic equation can have two values, when solved. But at a given scenario only one value will be applicable though both values i.e results are correct.
By giving the above example, I want to say all of you who are reading or all ready commented, Â To become developed as a Patna city or Bihar, we have to do some certain tasks which are already well defined by our thinker like economist/socialist/others.Â
There will be different path and any combinations of this task can be followed to make Bihar, a developed city.
Remember the definition of Development City always depends on: When we are taking about the a Developed City. In our case today; the 21st century.
IF definition of a developed city is having a MALL, Multiplex, and Strip Dance bars then you insist that no civilization before us was developed!!! Certainly not.
Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa were the one of the world’s of first fully developed civilizations. Did they have MALL or Multiplex at that time?  Read it in history, you will believe it.
totally agree with Prem Kumar; just the coming of a mall doesn’t indicate any degree of development in Bihar for which we need to work on all levels especially education, infrastructure..
and choosing right governments, fighting corruption……… A lot needs 2 b done before one can even dream of placing Bihar in the shoes of “Development”. Hope Biharis prove their mettle to the world in the upcoming future!!
I really do not understand why you all are getting so exited about the mall in patna. i mean come on just look at other cities in india  for eg delhi , gurgaon etc. they are like wow but patna being the capital of bihar has nothing to have fun.so  ultimately i feel we are the unfortunate ones to live in patna.
it’s too great to see our city developing.i am very thank full to Mr. Prakash Jha for highlighting our city.
I’m very exited to see the new mall………………
Bihar is increasing day by day. and the people of here will have to changr. than bihar will go an a international level.we have to make a
progress bihar as like paris……..
Bihar need educated peoples because here’s people do bihave just like animals. example- when mr. sharukh khan was to come in patna in p and m – mall for addvertisement his movie DON 2. some people loss gate of p and m mall.so we will have to change.
