Patna: Patna is now a proud owner of a sky-embracing revolving restaurant, a first of its kind in the entire eastern zone, after Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, at a simple ceremony on Wednesday, presided over the opening of it in the presence of a number of NDA leaders.
Located on the top of the iconic Biscomaun building at the western end of Gandhi Maidan, the restaurant is operated by the JS Hospitality and served by prominent caterer Pind Balluchi.
Officials said the restaurant makes a complete circle in an hour by a 5 horsepower machine.
Kumar was accompanied by Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Labor Minister Awadhesh Narayan Singh, Janata Dal – U national general secretary Shyam Rajak, Cooperative Minister Giriraj Singh, Consumer Minister Narendra Singh, Tourism Minister Ram Pravesh Rai, Biscomaun chairperson Sunil Singh and a number of officials.

“This is without doubt going to be a very popular place because of the view and the quality food available here,” the Chief Minister predicted after trying out a number of dishes.
The restaurant is open for business between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm and then again between 6:30 pm and 11:00 pm.
Serving both vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies, the rotating restaurant that sports a Punjabi ambience, will be offering a variety of chicken, mutton, and other dishes to suit even the most discriminating taste.
