American Cancer Society, Cancer Aid Society and Department of Anesthesiology, Patna Medical College and Hospital jointly organized a workshop on ” Addressing Palliative Care Through Improved Cancer Pain Policy” in Patna on October 23, 2010.
Delivering keynote address, Dr V Rastogi, Pain and Palliative Care, IMS-BHU said: “Cancer patients, who suffer from excruciating pain, must be administered doses of oral morphine, which works wonder to alleviate pain in such patientsâ€.
