People of Patna celebrated Dhanteras on November 3, 2010 marking the beginning of Deepawali with great zeal and enthusiasm buying gold and silver ornaments and coins. They also purchased utensils made of steels, brass and coppers. The buying spree for vehicles too marked the Dhanteras a day for shopkeepers.
