CIMP Alumni urged to contribute to the state development

PATNA: Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP) director V Mukunda Das , in his welcome speech , at the first CIMP Alumni Meet exhorted the people having their roots in Bihar to pay back to the state.

He said that thousands of people from Bihar are holding high positions at different places in various organizations. One should treat one s village as his motherland, a common practice in Gujarat, he said.

Das said that the CIMP alumni would prove to be the pathfinder and importance of Alumni Association would be visible after 10-15 years. He said that the CIMPians should follow `each one , teach one formula and show the right path to the society.

Speaking on the occasion as the chief guest, Religare Technova Limited chief operating officer Abhay Kumar Sinha said that he had noticed spectacular positive changes at the CIMP as well as in Patna compared to his here two years back.

Yet another chief guest Rajat Iyer in his interaction with the CIMP students shared his IRMA Alumni Association experience. He said that at IRMA a corpus was set up and network and data base of alumni was created and maintained. He said that the CIMP alumni could make great contribution to infrastructure development of Bihar.

On the occasion, the Hindi play, `Dulha Bik Gaya , a comedy based on the theme of dowry menace, was staged by the child stage artists of `A Beautiful Mind , a CIMP Social Development Project.
