Patna, Jan 30 (PTI) Noted Pakistani ghazal singer Ghulam Ali today lauded Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his efforts towards development and improving the state”s law and order situation during the NDA rule since 2005.
“Bihar was undergoing transformation under the able leadership of Kumar visible in development works around,” Ali said during half-an-hour meeting with Kumar at his official residence here.
The popular Pakistani singer, who was here to perform at a cultural programme, lavished praise on the people of Bihar for their keen interest in music, particularly ghazals.
The chief minister thanked Ali for his visit to the state and informed the latter that the state government was constructing a 5000-seat capacity auditorium to provide a platform to cultural activities, according to an official statement.
