Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar flagged off a Bihar heritage car run from Rajendra Chowk near Raj Bhavan in Patna on March 24, 2011. The run has been organized to showcase the state’s cultural and historical treasures as part of the 99th foundation day celebrations.
16 vehicles have been participating in the run that will culminate at Siri Fort auditorium in New Delhi on March 28.
The vehicles participating in the run have been painted tastefully with the theme of Bihar’s rich heritage to catch the attention of the people during their journey to and from Delhi.
Bihar Human Resources Development Minister P K Sahi and Information and Public Relations Minister Brishen Patel, besides senior officials were present in the flag off ceremony.
