PATNA: The virtual world is abuzz with Bihar Diwas celebrations with the online community making comments and exchanging messages on social networking sites such as facebook and orkut.
“B-BHARAT, I-INDIA, H-HINDUSTAN, A- ARYAWART, R-RIVA… BIHAR ke har letter seIndia ka naam shuru hota hai,” Delhi’s Shubham Barnwal Kumar has written on facebook. Ara’s Singh Sunil has added, “Har us ghar mein diya jalaye jaha ke log Bihario se jalte hai. Unke ghar mein ja kar mile aur samjhaye ki gandi rajneeti ke sikar na ho kar khule dil se hamein sweekar karein. We are Indians first.”
“East or west, our Bihar is d best… aur 5 saal Nitish ke CM rahe d ja, phir dekha ja Bihar ta har mamla me India k no 1 rajya ban jayee,” commented Bangalore’s Achintya Mohan Parth in chaste Bhojpuri.
An emotional Nawed Anjum Khan of Delhi remarked, “Main Allah se dua karunga ki har janam mein main Bihari rahu. Jai Bihar!”
Vijaywada’s Abhijit Kumar has pointed out that “Biharis are the most successful students in India; no one is (as) daring and hardworking as them”.
Wishing every Bihari a Happy Bihar Diwas, Delhi’s Shubhraja Singh has affirmed, “I am proud 2 be a Bihari. India will not progress unless Bihar does. I request u all to plz make it a cleaner state. Thank you.”
According to West Bengal’s Saloni Singh, “Bihar has the best human resource in the country and we need to make its best utilization for our state’s development.”
Kota’s Kumar Shubham has written, “Now people are conscious… Our leaders are conscious… and things are also in favour, so no one can stop our development… Our future is going to be bright. We are moving towards a self-dependent BIHAR in every field… economy, medicine, job market, education, electricity etc.”
Bodh Gaya’s Amit Kumar has thus exhorted Biharis to be proud: “Arre yaar, humlog toh jahan jate hain, waha apna jhanda gaad dete hain. Hai koi mai ka lal jo rok sake? Aur rahi baat Thackeray ki jisne Mumbai me garib rickshaw-pullers or labourers par hamla kiya tha, toh mere najar me woh… Agar majal hai to Mumbai se bahar aakar kisi Bihari bachche se bhi panga le le, toh woh bhi uski… Be proud of being a Bihari, but Hindustani first. And try to do something for your motherland. Jai Hind. Jai Bihar!”
Arguably the most thought-provoking one-liner has come from Ajit Kumar: Hum badlenge, toh Bihar badlega.
Very very Happy Bihar Diwas. We “The Bihari” were lacking a good leader which we have fouud now. We all have to put some effort to make our Bihar better. Take Bihar as one family and we all are the member of it. We all have to support this family to grow. Please do not mar the image of our Bihar by behaving badly in other states (if any one).
