Steve was the Founder,Mentor,Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of World’s largest technology company, Apple. He founded Apple in 1976 and nurtured it to be World’s largest Personal Computer maker in a decade.
However a series of events led to his exit from the very same company he founded and he started another company Next Computers. He also bought Pixar Animation Studio which successfully produced several hit animation pictures including Toy Story. Profitability was never a concern for Jobs.

The iconic Great Man was finally brought back to Apple when Apple purchased Next Computers in 1996. He was later made interim CEO and finally CEO in 2000.It was during these days that the greatest inventions of his life was made. In 2001 Apple introduced iPod, in 2005 iPhone Came and in 2010 Apple brought iPad.Needless to say all of them became killer devices the very first day of their launch. He also held several other products like iMac, iCloud, iTunes which are considered as a symbol of creative excellence.

Jobs married to Laurene Powell, on March 18, 1991 and the couple has 3 children. He has been suffering from ailing health since 2004 and was reported to have Pancreatic Cancer. He took leave from his job thrice to undergo treatment, the latest in January 2011. In August he resigned from his role of CEO and served as Chairman of Apple’s Board. Even he was lying on his death bed, his inventions did not halt. The same morning Apple launched the latest version of iPhone 4S (the latest and highly improved version).

The man was not a ordinary man but was a legend and will continue to inspire all of us.In his tribute, US President Barack Obama refers him as America’s greatest innovators and says the world has lost a visionary. In a tweet Obama says “There may be no greater tribute to Steve’s success than the fact that much of the world learned of his passing on a device he invented”.

Microsoft Chairman and Founder Bill Gates says- “For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it’s been an insanely great honor.I will miss Steve immensely”. “Steve and I first met nearly 30 years ago, and have been colleagues, competitors and friends over the course of more than half our lives,” said Mr.  Gates.

Facebook Founder Mark Zuckerberg mentioned on Facebook “Steve, thank you for being a mentor and a friend. Thanks for showing that what you build can change the world. I will miss you.”

The whole World is mourning his sad demise, but after all its destiny. He came to India in search of Spiritual Enlightenment in 1974 and went back as a Buddhist with his head shaved and wearing traditional Indian clothing
