Bihar would celebrate three-day Shiksha Diwas from the coming Friday. The three-day ceremony to honor the birth anniversary of country’s first education Minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad would take place at Gandhi Maidan, Patna and would be attended by over 2000 students and teachers statewide.
Bihar Governemment will also award Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Shiksha Puraskar to three outstanding teachers: Ram Pari Devi (Araria), Pushpa Kumari (Nawada) and Yasmeen Bano (Banka).
Government will also present Bihar Gaurav awards to 13 students who topped in various national and state-level competitions.They would be awarded Rs 1 lakh each.

Siddharth Bhardwaj from Buxar who got first rank in ICAR examination.
Saket Kumar from Begusarai who got first rank in NDA and naval academy examinations.
Ravi Shankar Kumar from Arwal who topped the examination for APP.
Inspiration – a local trust for promoting Science aand Mathematics would award sixteen young scientists with ‘National young scientist award’. These young scientists would get winter internship of two months at either Indian Institute of Chemical Technology, Hyderabad, Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangaluru, or GB Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development, Almora and Itanagar.
