BIT Patna Students Create 1st Entrepreneurship Cell of Bihar

While students from other Engineering colleges are busy in getting jobs, BIT Patna students have embarked to the arena of creating job opportunities. Having over 100 percent of placements this year, now the students have formed an Entrepreneurship Cell to incubate and drive the future industry leaders. The cell is expected to churn out about 10-12 Entrepreneurs in coming 6 months

E-Cell would be first of its kind in Bihar and would actively cater to develop the spirit of Entrepreneurship among the students of this region. The Cell would comprise of Students, Faculty Members, Alumni, Business Leaders, Venture Capitalists other Investors. Students from other colleges in the region can also associate with E-Cell.

The Entrepreneurship Cell would cater to the tasks of Incubation, Mentoring and Funding of the start-ups in the Eastern Region. It would organize Interactions with Industry Leaders, panel discussions and various business competitions. The start-ups would also be assisted in connecting to legal and financial institutions for setting up their Enterprise.
This is expected to generate a bunch of employment opportunities in Bihar apart from creating an ecosystem ideal for Business and Industry. Days are not far when Patna would replicate Bangalore in business and start-ups.

Come December 10th and the E-Cell would be officially inaugurated. The Inaugural Function would bring with itself a spectrum of business activities including B-Plan Creation, Panel Discussion and Talks on various spokes of Entrepreneurship

In the coming months, the cell would organize E-Fold – A National Level Business Plan Development Competition and the selected entrepreneurs would finally participate in Cocoon – The Annual Entrepreneurship Festival of BIT Patna
