BSNL Patna has tied up with a leading BPO in the telecom sector to provide Customer Service and Back-End Operations. This first of its kind step by BSNL in Bihar can open road to new avenues of employment in the state.
Intelenet Global Services, the first Global BPO in India has started its operation from BSNL exchange, Patel Nagar, Bailey Road, Patna. It will serve the prepaid, postpaid and 3G cellular BSNL subscribers in the telecom circles of Bihar and Jharkhand. It would provide services related to product inquiries, customer complaints, requests for provisioning new services, and outbound calls in English, hindi and various regional languages of the state.
Inteleset, a subsidiary of Serco Group- a leading FTSE 100 international service company employs close t0 27,000 people. With the launch of center in Patna, it would provide employment to over 1000 local people boosting the job ecosystem.
