A Court in Araria has issues a non-bailable warrant against  the self proclaimed Godman Nirmal Baba.  But, many of us dont know that a bit of Famous Supercop Shivdeep Lande is involved here. Araria SP, Shivdeep Lande is the person who investigated the matter and based upon his report, the Araria Chief Judicial MAgistrate could issue the non bailable warrant against Nirmal Baba.
A FIR was lodged by resident Rakesh Kumar Singh on April 21. The FIR alleges Nirmal Baba made a false promise of fame and fortune to him and, in return, forced him to pay Rs 1,000 in three instalments between January and March 2011.
The Baba allegedly also asked Singh to send him the counterfoils of the deposit forms through which he deposited Rs 300 twice and Rs 400 once in the Baba’s account with Punjab National Bank. While he couriered the counterfoils to the Baba’s Delhi address, he has preserved the courier receipt, the FIR said.
According to Araria SP Shivdeep Lande, police investigated the case and found the accusation prima facie true following which he directed the investigating officer to move the court and seek the warrant of arrest. He has constituted a police team led by DSP Vikas Kumar which will now need the DIG’s nod to leave the headquarters and arrest the accused.
The Fir lodged against baba By Mr Rakesh Kumar Singh does not prove that baba has forced him to do so as baba has stopped any personal appointment for last 2 years. Now he only runs samagam. So how he made a direct contact with baba? It is true that baba says to deposit dasawant to there devotee. But It is after all the devotees choice whether he deposit dasawant or not. Mr Rakesh Kumar has claimed that he has deposited RS 1000 in three installment and as a prove he has the courier receipt but it does not prove anything. As the bank account is open to all and any one can deposit money to that account. So I think his complaint is logic less and may be done intentionally to blame baba.
The Patna High court considered the Non-bailable warrant issued against Nirmal Baba to be illegal and were cancelled by the court.
Mr Rajesh Kumar Singh and his peers seem to be only wanting to have some public attention at the cost of already over burdened judicial system in the country. The judiciary already has cases which are of much more importance as it simply resulted in wasting time, money and efforts of the agencies which perhaps would have spent those resources in much more fruitful ways.
