1. In 1984 Euromoney Magazine rated Pranab Mukherjee as the best Finance Minister of the world.
3. Pranab Mukherjee has authored 5 Books, Beyond Survival: Emerging Dimensions of Indian Economy and Saga of Struggle and Sacrifice, Midterm Poll, Off the Track and Challenges Before the Nation.
3. Pranab Da’s Father  Kamada Kumar Mukherjee was a great Freedom Fighter who spent 10 years in Brtish Jails.
4. Before Joining Politics he worked as a Clerk at  Deputy Accountant-General  in Calcutta
