Gujarat CM Narendra Modi has blocked all Bihar BJP leaders from campaigning in Gujarat Polls. To be specific, none of the  BJP leaders appear in the list of Campaigners submitted to Election Commission by Gujarat BJP.
This no way means that leaders from Bihar cannot campaign, but the cost incurred during their campaigns will not be borne by the party.
This step is seen as the retaliation of Narendra Modi after he was not allowed to campaign in the Bihar Polls.
The list of 39 BJP campaigners, which the BJP has submitted to the Election Commission, does not include the names of Sushil Kumar Modi, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Shahnawaz Hussain, Rajiv Pratap Rudy, and Shatrughan Sinha, among others. A list of up to 40 star campaigners has to be submitted by the party, which would also bear the cost of their campaign and show it in its election expenses.
Polls in Gujarat will take place in two phases: First phase on December 13, 2012 and second phase on December 17, 2012. The counting will take place on December 20, 2012. Gujarat has 182 assembly constituencies, 13 of which are reserved for SCs and 26 for STs
