Saudi Arabia may deport several other terrorists to India if Indian Authorities successfully negotiate their extradition.
Union Home Ministry officials said the four Indians, have been under the radar of security agencies for a long time for their alleged involvement in terror activities in the country.They did not disclose the names of the four.
“We have requested the Saudi authorities to deport the four who are wanted in India. We are waiting for a positive response from the Saudis,” an official said.
All the four have travelled to the Gulf country using Indian passport and are believed to be members of banned IM which had carried out several blasts, including in Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Bangalore, in the last few years.
Saudi Arabia had deported three wanted terrorists in recent past. They are Lashkar-e-Taiba operative Abu Jundal, who was one of the key conspirators of Mumbai terror attack, IM activist Fasih Mohammed, an accused in Delhi and Bangalore blasts and LeT operative A Rayees who was allegedly involved in a 2009 explosive haul case in Kerala
