Bihar Road Construction Department is adding 41 kms of Raod every day to the total length of Roads in Bihar.
Almost 98 per cent of  Villages have been connected by the Rural Road Network which has a total length of 36,232 km.
According to Bihar Rural Works Minister Bhim Singh, the Government took rural road connectivity as a major challenge in view of the poor condition of roads of Bihar and has been successful in bringing about much needed transformation in past 7 years.
Stressing on maintenance of rural roads, Singh said a three-tier monitoring system has been put in place to monitor condition of roads in rural areas.
