Hyderabad: National Investigation Agency, NIA which was handed over the case of 2013 Hyderabad Blast Case has issued Non Bailable warrants against 10 Members of banned organization Indian Mujhahideen.
A Special Court has issued the Warrant against IM Chief Riyaz Bhatkal and 9 others in this case, Iqbal Bhatkal, Mohsim Chaudhary, Amir Reza Khan, Dr Shahnawaz Alam, Asadullah Akhtar, Ariz Khan, Mohd Khalid, Mirza Shadaab Beg and Mohd Sajid. NIA is also going to seek custody of Obaid, an alleged terrorist lodged in Bangalore jail.
During the hearing, two alleged IM operatives Syed Maqbool and Imran Khan were produced before the special NIA court after expiry of their five-day NIA custody and it remanded them to judicial custody till March 13th.
Earlier, Maqbool had confessed carrying out reconnaissance of Blasts at Dilsukhnagar, Hyderabad in 2012 during interrogation by Delhi Police.
Maqbool and Imran were lodged in Tihar Jail after their arrest by Delhi police in the August 2012 Pune blast case and have been handed over to NIA for their custodial interrogation on February 28.
NIA was handed over the charge of this case recently. It has conducted raids at various places in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Maharashtra, looking for alleged terror modules.
