Bihar has apparently shown incredible developments in several sector of Governance and economy.
The Tax Collection in Bihar has increased by 30 percent this year compared to the national average of 15 percent. No other state is close to Bihar in this metric
The State Finance Department has achieved a record 29 percent growth in its revenues by curbing Tax Thefts. Bihar has prospered due to these even in the times when Indian economy is rolling into ditches.
According to State Finance Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, the state has also shown tremendous performance in its expenditure in various schemes of the Government despite it got over Rs 8000 Crores less funds under various central provisions. The State was denied over Rs 1000 Crores  of funds from the Taxes collected from Bihar. The Central Govt. Grants were also slashed by a margin of Rs 5000 Crores in the last financial year.
Despite all this, Bihar has made tremendous spending in Urban Development and Agriculture Sector. The Expenses in Agricultural Development were increased three-fold during the last financial year, while Urban development Expenses witnessed an increase of about 200 percent.
