Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has suspended 11 BJP Ministers from the Cabinet. Â According to Kumar, “On Saturday, I called them to talk things out – even if they did not want to continue with us, I thought it would be better to talk things out with them and have an amicable split”.
“There were reports in the newspaper that their ministers were not working, that was not OK. We called a Cabinet meeting on Sunday and they did not even attend that. To not resign and not work, it is a strange situation.
So we have decided to go ahead with a vote of confidence on June 19. I have recommended 11 ministers be dropped from the Cabinet”.

NDA Convenor in Bihar Nand Kishor Yadav has announced that he would meet Governor Dr. D Y Patil and inform him about BJP’s withdrawl of support from Nitish Kumar led Government, reports Times of India. However some conflicting reports suggest that BJP will not withdraw on its own.

BJP Leaders in Bihar have refused to meet Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Reports are there that Deputy CM Sushil Kumar Modi, considered to be confidante of Nitish Kumar, has stopped using his official vehicle and refused to sign files.
“We are state leaders and have no authority to talk about Prime Ministership which only our national leaders can talk,” Bihar NDA convenor and state road construction minister Yadav said.

BJP Leader Kirti Azad Says that JDU cannot react over BJP’s internal matter. “Modi was announced as the Chairman of election committee. That’s our internal party matter. You can’t ask me what I am cooking in my kitchen. Whenever the candidate for Prime Minister will be announced, we will take everybody on board from within the NDA. But I fail to understand what has changed,” he said.

Bihar CM Nitish Kumar too was  critical in opinion. “Dua dete hai jeene ki, dawa karte hai marne ki (You wish me a long life, but offer medicines that will poison me),” Nitish Kumar has been quoted saying.
Kumar said: “What has to be done, has to be decided. Many on either side are of the view, that the alliance is very old and hence should be taken forward. Many want it snapped. On the other hand, the emerging situation is such, that it is difficult for us”.
